Super Duplex is a high-grade alloy duplex steel. The Super Duplex Pipe is a microstructure designed with an austenitic and ferritic type. These pipes contain superior concentrations of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. A Super Duplex 2507 Pipe has outstanding resistance to corrosive and oxidative media. The pipes of this grade showcase enhanced tolerance to pitting and crack stress corrosion. The Super Duplex Pipe is preferred in applications up to 316 degrees C. Any extended use of this grade in elevated temperatures can reduce their toughness and corrosion resistance. A Duplex 2507 Pipe is a high-strength grade designed with a low thermal expansion. The robust pipes in the grade of UNS S32760 Pipe possess enhanced ductility and can be easily welded in place following standard welding processes.
A Super Duplex Tube is designed with excellent mechanical and physical properties allowing them to function in a range of stress-induced setups. Designed with a density of 7.800 kg/m3 the Super Duplex Stainless Steel Tube has a minimum tensile strength of 116mpa with a minimum yield strength of 80ksi. These tubes can be readily elongated by 15%. This 2507 Tubing exhibits a hardness of HRB 310 max. These tubes can be processed following a standard hot or cold rolling process. 2507 Super Duplex Tubing is a common feature in desalination equipment, chemical processing, marine applications, and offshore oil production systems. The Super Duplex Stainless Steel Pipe is also seen in flue gas scrubbing equipment, mechanical components, structural modules, and industrial applications. The diverse 2507 Stainless Steel Pipe can be designed in ASTM and ASME standards to meet different project requirements.
A Super Duplex Steel Pipe is generally designed in seamless, welded, and ERW configurations. Each of these configurations has its own set of features and characteristics. SA 789 UNS S32750 Seamless Pipe is produced by passing hot steel billets through an extruded metal to shape the pipe in the correct dimensions. These pipes possess superior strength and enhanced load-bearing capacity. ASTM A790 UNS S32750 Welded Pipe is a low-cost alternative to the grade. Designed with welds these pipes have lower load-bearing capacity and workability. ASTM A928 UNS S32750 ERW Pipe is produced by passing electric current and then joining the sheets or strips of metal grade together. The versatile 2507 Pipe produced in India is cheaper due to the good availability of raw materials.
